American culture of violence against children
« on: May 25, 2022, 05:12:36 AM »
An 18 year old student walked into school today with automatic guns and killed 18 children. What does America do? Nothing. Americans are busy being greedy to even notice that children have been killed. This place is a dumpster fire

Very sad, but I love America very much. If politicians can get the spine to pass assault rifles, especially the deadly AR 15, the place could be a better paradise.

America has seen better days. It is an empire in rapid decline. Immigrants have irrational exuberance due to cognitive dissonance that allows to love a country that doesn't love them back

Is the US in rapid decline? I think it is the opposite. People that suffer and kill themselves are usually second to tenth generation Americans. Immigrants with sobriety, and education, thrive in America.

It is in rapid decline. All pointers are that every successive generation is doing worse than their predecessor. Most social scientists have proven this. It is no longer an academic exercise but a reality that usa has seen better days as an empire

Others made the same arguments in the 60s, 70s, and 80s. Even in the 90s, there was this rush to claim " America is no longer the shining city on the hill." America has this force to reengineer, retool, and reinvent itself when you think it is going down. It is the genius of America that has kept her on top of the world for 200 years and counting!

Empires die slowly. British empire is still rotting slowly after declining rapidly and then slowly decaying

America is declining fast and then it will slow down. The stink in this place is now at levels of banana republics

AGREED! It started in 1994' Gingrich, Trump put the final nail on it.
Too much irrational behaviors going on in politics that have affected every level of society and people keep blaming someone else instead of solving problems. All in all "The country went negative", and continues the path.

Warren buffett says never count america out. It will always work against you.  I blame big pharma for what is happening. Kids being given anti-anxiety meds, hyperactive meds as young as age 5. Do that and you won't be normal at 18. Big pharma is creating monsters that can't cope with the daily struggles of life that we all have to endure. They need to stop giving kids these drugs and allow them to develop their own natural stress dealing mechanisms like the rest of us.

too many americans think there's a happy drug that will give them permanent joy in this life.
