Lets be frank, Gachagua was not choosen.  He imposed himself on the party and their is nothing lhe sugoi fellow OR the party can do about it.  UDA shall have two centers of power.  It shall self destruct.  Whatever that Gachagua has on the DP is enough to make the butcher of kiambaa " arudi chini".  He was outfoxed and it has allowed over 35s' who were foolish enough to support that thug house, look towards Baba and Mama .

Ruto's major support comes from Kalenjins and Kikuyus, since DP cannot pick a Kalenjin, Kikuyu remained a default. Kabogo, Kuria, Kimani, Ndindi, and Gachagua were among the leading running mates, but since Kuria and Kabogo were deemed unstable and late comers to Kenya Kwanza, Kimani, Ndindi, and Gachagua were elavated to the next level. Ndindi, and Kimani are young and not moneyed like Gachagua , so Gachagua was the obvious choice. I pushed for Kimani myself because him and DP are true inseparable loyal friends!
