The ultimate aim of politician is to get power. Those guys have thrived outside ODM. Starting with RUto. This Jaluo cult thing is amazing. Raila is not alpha and omega of politics. Everyone goes to politics knowing they either win or lose. You align yourself with one team - it's gamble - that can pay off or not.

Some of you have stuck to Odinga opposition politics for 60yrs - and Ruto is about to make that 70yrs.

Soon it will be a lost century following one family to opposition politics.

With new kids on the political block in both camps I think he has decided to quit political scene quietly....If he goes to ODM you have joho abdulswamad shahbhal...Uda you have Hassan Omar muha etc sometimes you have to exit peacefully

Unless he is making moves secretly to fund campaigns - but yes he still very useful in tourism ministry - maybe wont make a CS but will be tapped for something - he clearly has management midas touch.
