This good move for Raila - because Martha is fighter and can consolidate those in Mt Kenya terrified of the return Moi regime through Ruto.

The problem - she has gotten it wrong twice in a row - like PK - and therefore is disconnected with most of GEMA

If she negotiated to be DPORK - then good move - otherwise it makes her bid in Kirinyanga DOA>

If Martha is DP, I will be in the queue early 9th August!  :D

But this complicates matters for Kaloi, 2027: Martha isn't the type to agree to deputize him, even for just one more 5-year term. But who knows? It's possible? How old will Martha be in 2032? They can all pledge to do 5*3 in the name of national unity: Tano-Tano-Tano (Raila-Kaloi-Martha): This way, they can keep Kamba votes in the basket.

If so, then I finally have the person I will support post-Baba! Kenya's first woman president!  :D Mambo ya Kabila Mbili is out: After all, women are the biggest, most excluded tribe in Kwinya.

Biggest problem for Martha is Mt. Kenya wazee: they don't trust her! Like the old Raila. Don't think they'll let her be DP, but here's to hoping! 🤞

Azimio DP is now a two horse race (regardless of what Kaloi flatters or thinks of himself). The two horses now are Martha and PK. For the dimwits who harbor outlandish "wet dreams" and haven't noticed yet, Ouru is on a guilt trip down memory lane and wishes to settle accounts with his most formidable opponents of yesteryears all in the name of leaving Kenya in "safe hands". For this reason Martha may have just cruised past PK.

I went to a school where there existed a great rivalry with St. Marys on the Rugby pitch. I never missed watching an inter-schools match knowing that the President's son would turn out for the St. Mary's squad. Kamwana was a juicy "creaming" target  (that is a Rugby term) for those in the opposite team (us) because of his last name but I loved his genuine liking of the game - and it was (not sure if it is still is, in this country) a snobbish game. Those who don't have or see the significance of background are often mistaken to think Ouru is lazy. Rugby is not a lazy man's game! It means from the onset, Ouru has valued hard and tough work. I really don't know how to put this in a humble way, but many people including some on this forum think there was a 'parting of ways' between Ouru and Luto when in fact it is simply that Ouru has never been comfortable around those he does not consider to be of his class. Class means many things to Uhuru. You have heard how Mama Ngina has let the cat out of the bag, this notion of "being raised right"? Now imagine how more appalled he is that Luto is trying to push an element of class war in his campaign? It must have infuriated and energized him at the same time to ensure Luto never runs this country.
Uhuru must have been appalled to have had to appoint Echessa on the recommendation of Luto. In politics, often accent to something to give your opponent the opportunity to hang himself.

Luto at some point during the closing days of Jubilee 1.0 must have sensed and accepted that Ouru was not going to support him and hence his disastrous decision to start early campaigns for 2022. Ouru on his part had just hard enough of his deputy's rough edges. Hio tu. So too is the case of some on this forum of @Veritas. You think you can run roughshod over others, in effect what you don't realize, you are just suffocating to others. I am not an insha person so I reluctantly pause here but stay tuned for my analysis as I "do the Lord's work" and lay out spot on prediction after prediction as I have done so far: case in point, Listing of big 5 who could ultimately NEVER work with Luto (even where common parlance dictates that there are no permanent enemies in politics): Ouru, Kaloi, Martha, Ngilu & Waiguru.

Would Martha excites Mt Kenya..nope..she made mistake in 2013 to run for pork getting least votes possible of 43,000 and then 2017 made ammends but lost governship then went on to complain bitterly till Africa court of justice blaming Ruto for rigging her out despite running on her party. She is damaged goods in eyes that matter..that of Mt kenya.People know she has personal beef with Ruto. All Ruto need to do is ignore them with ngilu...and they will run out of steam

Definitely with govt money Azimio will capture all mbutas but in kenya kwanza where we believe country and family first we are more concerned about Omenas. Mbutas or omena 1 vote, equal weight. Unfortunately Raila is capturing self anointed leaders with no heard. At best karua brings 1000 votes only, hers and her family.
