Kiraitu Murungi is long-term Meru kingpin and has yet to lose an election since 1992. His move to defend his seat under Azimio in Mbus says alot. Unless you mean he is suddenly stupid or has been duped? That's far-fetched. I don't see the UDA excitement in Meru: Dawood, Mpuru Aburi, Kawira Mwangaza are running as independent. These folks relying on their strength and not the party.

The choice of party by Kiraitu and Kawira say alot. UDA in fact spent months courting Kiraitu and he refused.

i know Ruto really need to clean sweep Mt Kenya - so it would be good for you if Raila went for Munya. But with Meru at 50-50 why would Raila do that? Raila will go for Kikuyu.. PK. Boardroom politics.
Politics is about people feeling you.
You need to connect with them.
Ruto has connected with Mt kenya and almost entire Kenya through hustler nation propaganda.
They need to see their struggle as your struggles.
Peter Kenneth would be a disaster for Raila.
Munya at least has done good job in Kilimo and can mobilize the ground.

Please leave boadroom politics - and focus on the grassroots.

Because projects launched in boadroom will never fly.

Elections are emotive issues.
People need to connect with you.

This is not news,Kabogo has always been a belligerent in GEMA politics..Remember in 2002 he won on sisi kwa sisi ticket against the narc wave,In 2009 re election he won using Nark kenya with martha karua...P  Kenneth and Karua opposed Uhuru in 2013 and he still won...don't expect all Kikuyu leaders to support Uhuru all the time.
