Basically its Imenti vs tharaka border issues. All along Tharaka border its fluid as they accuse,Tigania,Igembe,Imenti,Mwimbi and Chuka of encroaching on their land. Their is some true in this,so basically all Meru subtribes and clans are very territorial where I come from there are clan wars and so on. Thats why you find Meru is very ethnically homogeneous to almost 100% in rural areas you can't find a mukabila like you do in other areas and that's why its also easy to cook IEBC kura as no one will raise a voice or snitch.

They don't they are actually warmongers themselves,No Meru kabila is innocent they are all belligerent when it comes to land. Border skirmishes are a past time activity. But we now need a leader in Kenya who can stop this primitive wars forever

Kcb used to have a policy not to take Tiganias land as collateral. After bank managers became target of customers who land got auctioned after default. My dad used to tell me of how belligerent creditors would show up with pangas and slash managers. So the bank just stopped taking land as collateral

True,up to now banks don't take land as collateral in North Meru,Police to are afraid of venturing out in the villlages. Tigania are badass they are the most deadliest of all Merus.

Yes all subtribes and inside them different clans, in the subtribes there used to be different associations,so you find Mwimbi and Tigania have blood brotherhood known as gichiaro,Imenti and Igembe have their gichiaro,Chuka and Tharaka have their gichiaro, however this works against the language continuum,as Tigania and igembe are similar but don't have a gichiaro and so forth these is deep tradition can't explain here, but read more below
