The land in question here is or was Kenya Railways land and not city council's. No mayor had the authority or even any leverage in dishing out KR land.  Someone hinted that the KR peonsion fund sold some of the parcels to fill in the gaps in the pension payments.

EACC is starting to grow some teeth and should continue being relentless. Even if Fraud aided in acquiring Weston, the President would allow EACC to demolish or adjudicate to a rightful conclusion. The President is fully committed to ending corruption or anything that resembles corruption in the next few years. Whether in a position or not, every Kenyan should learn to be ethical and subject themselves to unmatched integrity at all times, and folks, that is the only way to have a prosperous, and just society. This is the right and correct direction. Wanjiru and Nganga should let the land go. They should be grateful atleast the govt is not syrchanging them for all those years they have illegally occupied the land.
