I think last piece of the puzzle is to accomodate the tiny mt kenya parties - Kuria,kiraitu,Kiunjuri - and that should end their propaganda against UDA - and also provide UDA with nomination breathing space.

This sounds like an ODM startegy same what was tried in 2007,2013 and 2017 which in all those elections ODM was beaten hands down.
I personally believe Ruto should do what Jubilee did in 2017 , Lock out any parties in RV and Mt Kenya then do a Jubilee 2017 in Western  as they did in North Eastern with PDR.
Ruto needed Mudavadi and Wetangula as a psychilogical blow against Raila and as you can see the partnership has rejuvinated Mudavadi and Wetangula. Im talking to my ODM friends and they are saying theyve now conceded prior they had small hopes .

Mt Kenya IS NOT locked with Uhuru playing rough - it's going to be restless until Uhuru wave the white flag - he is about.
Jubilee used similar strategy in 2013.
MOi's KANU use the same strategy - elevating Kalonzo, MaDVD, Saitotis, Ngala as KANU Vice-Chairs.
Weta+MaDVD is big boost in Western - but Ruto need to keep Mt Kenya very close - so there is need to elevate Uhuru heir apparent
Ruto has to pick both Gachagua and Alice Wahome into pentago - because Luhyas are coming in two.
Promote Duale to take care of all cushites.
Promote Mvurya to represent coast.
We can write off Nyanza - I dont see a Gusii leader that can sit on the high table - neither can I see Luo.

BBI was unnecessary. Power will not increase. It just sharing it. Ruto was powerful DPORK in first term. He is useless DPORK in 2nd term. Same constitution. You cannot legislate moral issues like good manners and sharing. SPIRIT of the LAW is what is lacking in africa - Britain survives without a constitution - because britons are decent people.
