Chinese love Tennis. So when their wta ranked tennis star went 9lon China social media to claim she been sexually abused by a 75 year old former ccp vice premier the post caused an uproar. It was a brave and dangerous thing to do in China. I wish she should have traveled abroad and done this. The ccp went after and disappeared her. WTA to its credit did something most of these corrupt sports bodies usually do not do. They demanded ccp to produce which the tennis star. What is unfolding is comical attempt of cover up.

I hope wta has done enough to embrass ccp and this lady will released to go to exile soon. I would have thought Xi being a Mr clean up he would have disappeared the vice premier and let the tennis star live free

What we are seeing is China moving to mute anyone who alleges crime by high officials. They are also moving very quickly to take over Taiwan and that is the reason they fired the supersonic weapon as a warning. In Hong Kong they never adhered to what was agreed by the colony instead they moved to instill their form of govt and crush anyone who dared them. All these point to a China wanting to play by their own rules. Anyone who deals with Taiwan will ruthlessly be dealt with.  More to come.

Put it this way! When china invades Taiwan, it will be the Taiwanese military to defend themselves. China will want to make it short and quick and Americans wont want to trade jabs with Chinese either. No need of going to a nuclear war over some island Its not worth it. At the end they will try some sanctions to look tough etc but fade to normalcy in about a year or two. Just like hongkong. Best defence for taiwan is if they acquire nuclear i think.

China cannot beat Taiwan that easily.  Taiwan is like Tigray. They are the ones ones who put a fight against Japanese occupation. They were smart to recognize that free market was going to bring stability to China before anyone. Anyway ccp needs to reform and move on the agenda of prosperity. Xi is a tyrant like Mangufuli. He thinks he can bend everyone but himself. China under him has suffered a lot of bad relations. He continues his belligerence he will lose his people. Such is a shame that a small matter like this of sexual abuse is now a big international embrasssment. Did you see what he did by deporting africans and accusing them of spreading covid. He should just have tightened immigration rules and edged them out of the country slowly without brutality.

Anyway tyranny leads to chaos and violence. That why American conservatives always end up in war. They believe in imposing their will on others instead of winning hearts and souls.

China is q baby in terms of empires. It needs to steady itself before thinking of engagement in conquests

The Chinese are hardworking people that are under the cruelty of ccp. That is key. A govt that tries to save face at the expense of the welfare of her people is evil. The system is set up in a way that bad news is not acceptable. So local govt just covers up and falsify  documents. Anyway the people have a social contract with ccp. They are the one to one day decide if they are getting value for this social contract...
