The racket, which has been smuggling thousands of bullets out of GSU training camps and into the hands of criminals, is now believed by those in security circles to be fuelling the insecurity currently being witnessed in Laikipia, Baringo and West Pokot.

Hot on the heels of these rogue officers is a clandestine squad whose job is to hunt down, detain arbitrarily or execute whoever is discovered to be involved in the mass stealing and sale of government bullets to bandits.

Seem it now official policy of gov to do EJK for complicated crimes...ever since Michuki restarted the Mzungu colonial policy.

I know even in Transmara - they EJK a lot of kipsigis cattle rustlers - and dumped them in forest near my home.

They did the same in West pokot, Baringo and Marakwet.

As long as the Kangaroo court that decide who dies and lives is very thorough - nobody will complain.

Certainly EJK and mob lynching is clear sign that bottom up judiciary/criminal system has totally failed to solve practical problems.

Yes there is a tacit approval to weed out the bad apples. Again it only become an issue if indeed someone was innocent. But if they do a good job; nobody will complain; Even the most fair justice system still nab the innocent. For instance the cattle rustlers killed...everyone knew they were good for nothing pests...so nobody really complain.

Lets hope those in charge of this do not use it for ulterior motives to eliminate business or rival or become assasin for hire - or do politics - msando style.

This has been going on for many years - the APs and GSU are biggest sources of bullets to the underworld -those that go to train or for missions. There is need to re-look into that.

Actually, it looks like the EJKs were calculated to spook the rogue cops. No arrests, summary execution,and even worse, disappearances
