Maybe USA should consider legislation against misinformation
« on: September 08, 2021, 02:52:49 AM »
Reddit has some fucking funny people. There is a subreddit called Hermancain Award.. This is the billionaire Former USA presidential Candidate that became a Trumper and died from Covid.

The following link is a antivaxxer that took horse dewormer had an overdose that has resulted in Liver failure and now he will die from it. He has asked the nurse taking care of him to share his story as cautionary tale to Trumpers idiots not to take Ivermectin' You see what is happening is unethical and purely evil. Smart people are selling these dangerous ideas to these idiots who have very low intelligence and they are ending up in harming themselves or dying. The govt has duty to stop this. What the attorney generals should do is to target the misinformation spreaders and charge them with murders and other crimes. This will be an effective way of shutting down this dangerous lunacy that is going on

People have had reactions and died from covid vaccines, you are sensationalizing an isolated incident.

FDA is corrupt, don't believe them.

Please keep it yourself if you are misinformed. FDA has been approving effective vaccines based on sound data for decades. Measles, Tetanus, Polio, smallpox, and countless other challenging diseases have been eradicated in human history courtesy of vaccines authorized by the FDA since 1906.  I'm a researcher, and I know how these guys look at data, especially in today's data analysis powered by algorithms. Besides Covid and Climate change, Misinformation is the biggest challenge facing the globe right now, especially in Trump's America, where the conservatives and conspiracy theorists are dying like flies even in their last arguments.

The US government is the best source of misinformation! So you want them to ban themselves?

Plato,
People always like being misinformed. Look at the Trumpies, and Case in point here, GeeMail. He/she loves the attention. Only way to ban it is to make spreaders put a claim that "this info has not been verified", before airing the information otherwise anyone is at liberty to sue for misinformation.
