Tangatanga woes: Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri headed out of UDA
« on: August 24, 2021, 10:15:10 PM »
The man seems to be formenting grievancea and excuses to leave. I think Ruto favors Kihika dynasty - this "BBI was great but was hijacked" is new excuse to undermine UDA.

Susan Kihika, Kimani Ngunjiri rivalry puts DP William Ruto in dilemma

Quote
Moments after the Building Bridges Initiative (Constitutional Amendment) Bill 2020 was declared unconstitutional by the Court of Appeal, the two DP allies issued two contrasting statements.

On her Facebook page Ms Kihika said: "BBI is dead and dusted. My No vote for BBI is vindicated tonight. There is God in heaven, I salute the Judiciary of Kenya."

But the Bahati legislator, who had been a critic of Mr Odinga praised the ODM leader saying: "Mr Raila Odinga you've tried for this country and history will judge you well."

Kalenjin will decide who becomes governor in the 3 counties of Nakuru, Narok and I think Tranzoia. They are 40 percent almost in all the three. Whoever runs on UDA start with 40 percent  from kalenjin - who will not fill a candidate- and only needs 10 percent from their Kabila. All susan need to win is mere 1 out of every 5 kikuyus.

This is why Kihika has won it already, Dr Chris Wamalwa is forcing Weta to join Ruto, and Narok's Patrick Ntutu has it - and current governor going for Senate- has won twice by simply getting 10 percent of his own Maasai as Kipisigis provide the 40 percent.

Its the same way Raila determine Mombasa governor - through kavirondo(Luo-Luhya-Gusii) alliance of 40 percent.

Ngunjiri pro-BBI noises are symptoms of UDA problems. UDA Gema is in turmoil. Ngunjiri is a certified native hustler like Kuria and Kiunjuri. This is no longer about him and Kihika - he is PRAISING BBI, Uhuru and Raila.

Another lethal agitator in UDA crosshairs.

Pundit - if you watch carefully, you can see UDA Gema problems are just more Ruto leadership failures. Any bigger party than Kalenjin UDM quickly becomes problematic. Kalenjins in UDA are so quiet but Gema iko chida kubwa.

As long as Ruto has the majority of gema people; he will come like the rest pleading for his wheelbarrow. maybe he is just gone to pick a few millions from BBI crew like desperate Nakuru governor.

If Ruto can unite 11 sub tribes of Kalenjin - something moi was unable - plus all the other small tribes - GEMA teething problems - will sort itself out. Ruto will not bend over. He will proceed having made a decision to sell UDA. That is strong leadership. The political brokers will run around - and eventually the wananchi will send them scampering for their wheelbarrow.

If 4yrs of frontal attacks has not diminished Ruto - what is the new thing? Ruto has to commit big error to lose mt kenya

Ask Nancy and Uhuru and Kieleweke how much they have spend in mt kenya without any showing.

Hustler Nation message long sunk.

Ruto has not united anyone past Kalenjin. That is wonderful but he has no magic to unite other kabila. The "frontal attacks" were on Uhuru lead by Kurias and Ngunjiris. It is these Ruto generals that have turned against him. That underdog game he played against Uhuru and Raila... he can't play it now.

Ruto doesn't not do retail politics. He does wholesale politics. He excel in propaganda and once its has sunk - then it easy to reap the benefits. Trying to appease every guy who leave you is political retail. But if you concentrate on a message - it become easy. Many in mt kenya have attempted to finish Ruto - but they find hustler nation has already sunk deep - and wananchi want to hear nothing else. They coil their tail and come for their wheelbarrow.

Raila is also good in wholesale politics - but seem he has lost his mojo.

Raila is trying to get momentum post BBI - and his Azimio thing aint working. Last year he sprung a BBI momentum on Ruto - and it worked for quite some time.

Until he find a counter-move post-BBI - Hustler Nation - remain the only wholesale politics that can sell everywhere - otherwise it become difficult to sell message in mt kenya then go to coast and sell a different message

You need to create a political wave or euphoria or a tsunami - Change, MAKA, etc. Raila made a big bet on BBI - it has fallen flat.
