Nobody say IEBC election officials cannot rig. Nobody say NIS cannot influence things. But if become so cynical to believe everything in kenya has to be fixed - you already have lost. If Kuria had specific information - good - he clearly identified the car - turned out IEBC were repairing the TIMS kits. So yes eternal vigilance but not eternal cynicism like ODM.
As for these interviews - they are first being done publicly - if they don't give us Ngatia - they will give us Martha Koome (2nd best) - I have no problem with that - heck Mwilu somehow made it to Supreme Court (and she is light weight in my view). Uhuru was LUCKY - one of LSK official was not appointed - so he had more men than usual.
My expectation is Uhuru will be given only 4 commissioners - and he will simply appoint them. Now this team consisting of religious leaders, LSK, etc, we got to trust them.
Otherwise if we become cynical - then we start to prepare for civil war.
For now UDA/RUto are not naive - Uhuru has NIS - Ruto has his parallel NIS - that is working on it's counterintelligence - to expose any nefarious activities. That is how to deal with this.
Moses Kuria was tweeting that IEBC officials were stuffing ballots in the bush. Just yesterday. Deep state has been popularized by Tangatanga to explain away Jubilee civil and pretend Uhuru was not the one fighting Ruto. Now you can run away from your own ghost as it becomes clear machinery is hostile.
NIS exists - Uhuru has installed them everywhere. Obviously they told him Ngatia is unfriendly - and Ngugi/Odunga - and he refuse to appoint them. If you think IEBC commissioners are going to be picked for technical competence I guess it a new Kenya we all dream about.
