Yes coz what he is asking Uhuru to do; Uhuru has done it the last 4yrs; and Mzito bado ako sawa; Anyway thursday by-election will decide; If Uhuru loses as he is expected; the remaining political class will move; the die-hards like Warigi or your boy Munya will be left thinking of even assisination; but Ruto has topnotch intelligences and will know it before they even think it.

Uhuru managed to destroy KANU and came up with TNA for the smae purpose. He will destroy Jubilee as his focus shifts to safegaurding the loot done by his cronies and relatives. He might come up with a new party . Initially he wanted to use BBI to do that but upon realising it has failed he has shifteedto another plan. Meanwhile he is keeping Nasa brigade engaged till last minute.

He can come with new party but he will have no takers - he can rebrand Jubilee - it will still be dead. His options now are two 1) Join NASA - or even ODM - 2) Join UDA. Or well as I suspect just quietly retire. He really has taken a burden that doesn't belong to him. His job right now should be to prepare transition coz either way - he wont rule kenya via proxy. This is kenya - not Uganda or such countries.

The biggest problem he faces now - lameduckness - his power has evaporated - nobody will fear a retiring president with less than a year to go - so any of his threats will be laughed out.

Half the people in gov are probably plotting their way to politics - and considering majority are from Jubilee leaning areas - they obviously are looking at Ruto - and leaking his gov state secrets - and endearing themselves to the political class.

The other half - are trying to start open minded  - knowing a new gov is coming either way - would kick those opposed to them - so they are not going to be ready to listen to instruction from above - unless it written.

Most of them intend to retire or resign as early as end of this year - and latest February - so they dont care if fired - in fact if they get fired - it even better - because they can get some sympathy.

What trouble; you think there is any politician out there; who will agree to play spoiler for Uhuru or Raila sake

Let us run to deny RUto 20 or 30 percent - that kind of NASA desperation logic is funny. Politician want to WIN. No sane politician want to start with burden like Raila on their back in Mt kenya and play for 20-30 percent.

Uhuru is dreaming if the plan is to deny Ruto some percentage - he will be alone.

As long as UDA wins; it over for Jubilee.

The few remaining in Jubilee will cross over. This is not the first by-election - this will be the last - it just confirmation that Jubilee has lost - because it already lost in Muranga, Kiambu, Nakuru, Nyandarua.

What the likes of Fairandbalance are not taking into account is that Ruto in 2022 is fighting it out with Raila . Uhuru will not be in the picture.  Even in 15/07 a vote for Jubilee is not a vote for Raila. If really Raila had a foothold in Mt Kenya he could have fielded a candidate. Ruto has done that all over the country. ODM will not be on the ballot meaning they will get 0% .

UDA job is simple - to completely take over former Jubilee votes. That doesn't seem hard because all former Jubilee members were sold on Ruto 10 and Uhuru 10. Uhuru I doubt is willing to risk his money to make someone else PORK - and least of all his money. So these NASA people are just helping Uhuru to finish his term - hoping Uhuru will reciprocate - which is naive stupidity.
