This is a big one...sadly the wind condition makes it ineligible for world record.

The wind is a very chaotic thing. It could either work for or against the athletes. I expected charangany mp would quit marathoning, but its a surprise he ll participate.

Great line up.
I doubt that the men will break the world record even with no wind. 2:02 is crazy.
Sunday will be fun. Great races for both men and women.

I wasn't around this time.  We started the tradition of holding an ugali feast with the athletes two nights before the race.  It used to be Samuel Wanjiru's race.

Didn't watch it. Had to take my daughter to swimming. Tried to keep track of the events through the web though. Eliud Kipchoge has served his revenge on Bekele on cold plate.
