You are deluding yourself... hoping on false hope. Whether it is one or 100cases, they will be consolidated and dispensed with in one swoop. BBI is fait accompli....

If judiciary wants interference of their independence; let them allow exeuctive to pass this evil BBI; if they want hybrid system where Mps and MCAs are part of the executive; pass it.
Give Ruto imperial power and then come and cry later.
I believe all those 11 cases - one or two will succeed. The Ndii basic structure of constitution is quite interesting - and if granted will guard the constitution from being multilated through ammendment.
The rest are really about BBI flouting procedures and rules. One or two of them will probably see BBI being told to go back and do it right. This is good for time saving because Uhuru is now 1yr to irrelance.

Why would MCAs oppose BBI when it very good for them; it gives them ward fund; make them become part of executives; and increase allocation to counties; and on top of it - gov just gave them 2M car grant.

Courts will buy us time - the biggest losers in BBI is the public and the judiciary - both have to fight this odious mongrel that takes us back to old dark days. Now judiciary can declare the whole thing null and void - or can ask the BBI proponents to fix it - and there 11 strong cases.

SAMBURU County Assembly latest to pass the BBI Bill in a unanimous vote by all 26 MCAs; more counties set to vote tomorrow.

The other counties should not stress themselves debating or tabling it in the assemblies . This BBI was to be used by Raila for a contest - He will not get it

The court can only intervene if a illegality has been committed. It will be weary getting involved in what is considered a popular initiative. Not that I like the BBI any better. But I don't parrot about it like my life depends on it.

BBI was illegal ab initio. It's formation and funding. Do you know the details? There are 11 court cases that have been certified to raise weighty issues and so far IEBC is injunction. Some of the case go back to formation of BBI opague...illegal funding...and as we speak today..BBI process is being rushed...no public participation..IEBC were forced to validate signature in a week almost..they gave kenyans 4 days to check their names...not sufficient. Some assemblies in Nyanza passed it without bothering with public participation. MCAs have been bribed with car grants.
BBI is heading nowhere.

There will be no referendum like there was no nairobi county elections. Tangatanga adherents have been sent on a wild goose chase. Everyday the reality is different from what they expect.

Which goal post , we have maintained for a long time elected leaders vis a vis ground are very different things, Robina with her galaxy inshas went into retirement specifically because of that.
Approximately 5 of you guys have been very active last 2 days, even claiming and congratulating yourselves having been on kenyan political internet for 5 years. I can confidently say Ruto will retire you guys once and for all. I will be here to do you the honours.
