I thought Soros and ilk liked big deficits, liberal spending on infrastructure and high taxes. Ndii is for none of that.
He is more of a heterodox economist.

The guys are in different fields of knowledge. Ndii is economics, Kituyi is political science or something along those lines. I get the impression Ndii has intellectual humility. I haven't seen Kituyi in any context except when touting his own importance.

The guys are in different fields of knowledge. Ndii is economics, Kituyi is political science or something along those lines. I get the impression Ndii has intellectual humility. I haven't seen Kituyi in any context except when touting his own importance.
Yeah Mukhisa is international development and trade bookie. The chest-thumping is born of political ambition - this greases the career scales I reckon; - if he applied half the geoconomics wit he might be a better sport for politics. But nope - his ego is too big for governor so he has a Johnson-Sirleaf fantasy. Ndii is free of all that so he can be more modest, objective and politically incorrect.

Only a fool would describe himself as intellectually finished. The more you read the more you discover you know nothing. That is why most proffesors are humble. If you go back into the future - what we are doing now - will look so silly in the future.
Most intellectually gifted are humble for that reason.

You see people like Ndii are more knowledgeable because they corroborate and work with others. Kituyi on the other hand he is a lone ranger. He is not a team player or persuasive enough to earn respect by peers. What are his achievements at WTO?

Remind me about 25yrs ago. I was moonlighting - as university student - so I was building this Mobile CE tool for an American client. It was my first one - so after so many iteration - I finally was convinced I was done. I renamed it the Final Solution - and sent it to the guy. That American was very gracious. He told me in Software never to say Final. Nothing really is ever finished. There will always be changes, improvements and refinement.
It takes Mukhisa kind of arrogancy to call oneself intellectually finished.
