Maybe it Bukusu thing but indeed his arrogance is nauseating. He tend to think he smartest kenyan alive :)

Kenyan? The man believes he is the smartest dude in the universe. Makes Anyang Nyongo look like a schoolboy.

I thought it was Luos who love intellectuals.  I get the impression Kikuyus love businessmen and thugs.  Luhyas seem to be into thugs as well, so Kituyi has no shot there.  Kalenjin are into youthful leaders.

Plato, this is perhaps the most spot on observation you ever posted on this Forum. Babukusu place a high premium on being social and also hold dear to their customs & how their ancestors lived. Mukhisa was a one-term legislator and today cannot even win an MCA seat back home. Those who want him in central and elsewhere can try him out, he just won't get his votes from Bungoma. Period.
