Omwami, they all run to BBI when they discovered Kinoti/Hajji were not fighting graft but fighting Ruto. It appears Hajji and Kinoti fell out after Kinoti thought he was the boss - not DPP - and now we are seeing some movement from Hajji.

I haven't a clue why you are bringing in Hajji and Kinoti in this discussion when my point was plain and simple... that Obado made a political miscalculation by backing the wrong horse. All he had to do was to seek help from within rather than across the river. The laundry was right there. Now Kenya politics 101 of mtu wetu is not an option for him to fall back on ...

You note how cases which had been dead for a minute are being revived .From Governors to MPs . This is everything to do with BBI .ODM have decided to sacrifice Obado . One thing they are forgetting is that as long as this trend of targeting your opponents starts it will continue even when they are not in power . When Ruto wins Haji and Kinoti will be out  and a new cycle might start . Its a very dangerous game.
This administration didnt learn from Kibaki and Moi during their second term , they stopped using law enforcement to fight political battles. You never know who will take over from you .There are alot of skeletons in the government starting from DCIS and DPPS offices .

What really happens in political circles is that , when a politician falls they are all deserted . Ruto has a tendency of reaching out and having a peep talk encouraging and praying the politician to overcome the troubles .
You know the power that holds . This eventually leads to forming a relationship . In the first term we knew who held the powers of deciding which corrupt official is going to be taken to court . It was Wako through Tobiko . Wako was in ODM hence the chest thumping the ODM governors  had then. In second term its statehouse period. There is noway Obado could have gone to Ruto for rescue .
The only way was through Raila and how things are going Raila have decided to throw him under the bus for " greater course "   BBI - Just for " ndio liwe funzo"  It a rallying call for Governors to support BBI and referendum .

Haji has been on motion in the last one week because he was given go ahead from powers within to initiate the cases . The Covid saga exposed the Governments underbelly in its so called fight against corruption , the saga was snowballing at a very fast rate with protests in every major town and secondly BBI Referendumn is coming , the worst fear of Uhuru is losing , that fear is so bad that in 2013 he almost gave away presidency to Mudavadi .  Even the 2017 election court case loss made Uhuru go through a mental breakdown  and went into a drinking stupor until Ruto had to become the face of Presidency . If it wasnt for Ruto Raila treachery had managed to wrestle presidency from Uhuru.

Huyu ameenda. After killing the young lady - he run to Ruto - after DCI was sent to him - he run to Raila. This is another Waitutu windsock. He should pick one side and stick with it. Now he will want to run to Ruto corner.
