Most companies are going down no matter the shareholders. As much as crony capitalists are heartless, it is sensible to kick out employees on redundancy as we head to the cliff. Advert revenues for TV have been dying even before Corona.
With even politicians using Facebook and Twitter ads, these lazy journalists can easily monetise their Youtube and Instagram channels given their popularity but there is nonsense among corporatish Kenyans ati facebook, Instagram are waste of time. Now they will face starvation given no media or any other firm is hiring.
Likes of Betty Kyalo will easily transition given she had already monetised her online platforms.

The likes of Chamwanda is out there creating and selling his content.
