Ruto is not the first fellow to be used and dumped by GEMA. Jaramogi, Tom Mboya, Raila, Kalonzo - top of a long list. GEMA simply pit non-GEMA against each other throat. 60s they pitted Moi vs Jaramogi. 2002 Raila vs Moi. 2013 Raila vs Ruto. It an open playbook to anyone with half a brain. I mean the Jubilee fallout is all over the news - more popular than COVID :) - and you are still spinning they are playing Raila. You have strung all theories here - from looting envy, Jezebel, Kibicho, Tuju... finally Ruto is now facing Uhuru squarely by speaking in tongues :) Seems the JP katiba give Uhuru sweeping powers over all officials and organs. Literally it doesn’t matter what Ruto claim to control - like that old “public servants serve at the pleasure of the president” or “president is above the law” or “it is treason to imagine the death of the president” - invalidate all other laws - 70s stuff in JP 2016 Ruto invention :)
What a hare-brain! This also happened in ODM where a clause declared the party leader as automatic presidential candidate. This fool never learns. Even the trojan is an exact replay of 02 where Raila left Ruto holding an empty bowl

ARTICLE 9 – DUTIES OF THE PARTY OFFICIALS
9.1: NATIONAL OFFICIALS
The Party Leader
The Party Leader shall:
1. Be the overall Leader of the Party and the symbol of unity.
2. Oversee, coordinate and supervise the implementation of the Party manifesto by the national government, county governments and their respective agencies under the Jubilee Party.
3. Issue directives for the performance of specific acts or omissions thereof in furtherance of the objectives of party or fulfilment and compliance with party manifesto, programmes, values and ideals.
4. Offer leadership, political direction and guidance to the Party at all times in the discharge of its mandate.
5. Promote political harmony and shall have overall authority over the other officials and members of the party.
6. Chair all meetings of the National Delegates Convention and National Governing Council.
7. Preside over the Party Parliamentary Caucus.
8. Promote political consultation, engagement and co-operation with other political
parties and coalitions.
The Party Leader may attend or summon a meeting of any organ of the party at any time.
The Deputy Party Leader
The Deputy Party Leader shall deputise the Party Leader, and shall perform such functions as the Party Leader may direct him or her to do.
