You would think by reading ke news that this type of poverty has been eliminated

Sad...I have to say this kind of biting  poverty affects approximately 25% of ke population. Good leadership can sort out some of these problems, area Mpig or MCA should have addressed this issue through bursary or at least bring the community together to raise funds for the poor boy.

What breaks my heart is to see this kind poverty while leaders are spending billions on stupid BBI

All boils down to leadership. The so called 'elected' leaders have failed Kenyans. Starting with the illegitimate president Uhuru.

Not really.  It's not even the worst in Kenya if you consider people who starve to death.
