Brokers are so entrenched that I once had to cause a scene at an insurer’s office at Upper Hill over delayed repairs. Only when I threatened to go to IRA did I get served. They sent me to the broker and all the broker showed me was emails. This broker model is broken.

Yes - I think tech can pretty much cut them out - and make insurance very cheap - and improve coverage. IRA need to support digitilization. You don't need specially printed car sticker when we have USSD applications that police can use to confirm your insurance.
For third party -It should be as simple USSD app - enter you name, id, car number plate, make - pay the amount - and you're send an email that you can print and stick to your car.
