Title: China has always operated as a dynasty

The Chinese inner core culture points to this. This video is intereting. Xi is trying to manage economic down turn without losing power. China dynasty is on its last legs. If China survives this then it will emerge a more powerful and resilient country. I doubt Chinese can lose faith in the system. It had workex pretty well for them. However if an economic meltdown happens then things may become ugly for ccp. Without economic muscle China will not be able to have say. However a billion brainwashed consumers can do wonders

If you’re old enough you’ll remember Japan was in the same shoe thirty years ago. China’s economy is more dynamic than Japan so don’t underestimate china

I agree..it just puzzles me why xi thinks rewinding the clock is a better solution
