Nothing doing here. Kenyatta corruption is at industrial scale makes Waititu theft looks like a chicken thief.

Corruption is across board - but if anybody think it's a good political strategy - then they are political novices - because as soon as they get to court - they will be out in bail - like nothing happened.

The goal is political - withdraw security, hound him, freeze assets, etc - intimidation. Sending the message it is costly to campaign for Ruto. If it was a genuine war you would be right.

Muhoho and Mama Ngina are next - Kinoti is thrashing the paperwork. All animals are equal.

Those things worked under Moi. Not now. They only embolden the victims and give them victimhood. Jubilee tried with Joho and likes - and they made them even more popular. Kibaki basically created Ruto by arresting him on Ngong land case.

What works now is sweat talking, bribing, and promises these people the opportunity to enjoy power now or in the future.

Kibaki or Ngong case did not make Ruto. The far you stretch to make a point. For the top guy victimhood is great fodder, but the pawns go where it's profitable for them. Ruto promise them when he becomes PORK bla bla, but if Uhuru raise the temperature few will stick it out for your man. To suffer 3 years for future promises won't work for these harlots.

The problem here is all have dirt in their hands, but Uhuru has the upper hand at the moment. If it is true that Waititu has of late been out buying buildings and houses in Nairobi, then he has a problem. You cannot be a thief and at the same time fight state machinery.

I think if you mean with GEMA - then Uhuru pretty much hold the stick - or maybe not. The stick is not EACC or CID - it's the people. The problem Uhuru has gone to handshake without the people. That is why it's important for Uhuru to sell his vision to GEMA - first - before all these Kibicho crazy political neophytes ideas.

He is a governor - not an opposition leader - and he is pretty much untouchable as Kiambu governor until next election. That is why I keep telling Robina to be aware of such new dynamics. This not Moi era. Uhuru power has been greatly reduced. The best he can do is to "ask" DIC or DPP or EACC to drag you in court for a few days - and you'll be out in bail - and lawyers will continue with the rest.

This is very sad for kiambu. Kiambu can do better the problem is that honest people do not want to be involved in politics. There is enough talent to make kiambu one of the greatest counties. Waitti deserves death. He is the worst pig. It really pained me when he had a maasai killed in nairobi due to his hooliganism.

Problem here thieves are sending thieves to catch thieves. The whole saga is bound to fail from day one. We were told Governor Obado found to have stashed billions using his children in foreign countries and months later nothing has come up. There is not even a case against Obado on money laundering. The man is free as a bird and most likely already replaced his late mpango wa kando Sharon.

You are forgetting the bigger picture.  Nobody is actually trying to solve anything in good faith.  It's political.  It's about damaging the guy.  Waititu is stealing from Kiambu people.  As a Kiambu resident, next time you see him with tanga-tanga crew, you will remember that.

Deputy President William Ruto's 2022 presidential bid has once again been dealt a blow after his pointman in Kisii County ditched his camp.

The Kitutu Chache South MP Richard Onyonka said his brief dalliance with the DP was meant to spy on what was happening in the ‘Tanga Tanga’ camp.

SHOCK

In a surprise move that has left his supporters in shock, the MP said he made an about turn after realising the DPs camp is ‘a hotbed of and graft.’

Pundit, what's happening in Meru. Seems only Kiraitu is left in Ruto corner.

Munya, Mithika and Aburi unite to counter Kiraitu
They say Mt Kenya leaders should stop politicking about 2022 and focus on growth

MUNYA, LINTURI ABURI FORM PACT Meru Senator Mithika Linturi, EALA MP Mpuru Aburi and Trade CS Peter Munya on Saturday in Kianjai. The three have pledged to work together

In Summary

• Munya says they have resolved to work together for the sake of Meru.

• The leaders have rejected a proposal by Agriculture CS Mwangi Kiunjuri and Kiraitu to meet in Limuru to chart the way forward for Mt Kenya politics.

Meru Senator Mithika Linturi, EALA MP Mpuru Aburi and Trade CS Peter Munya have formed an alliance to counter Meru Governor Kiraitu Murungi.

The three have been attending functions together. They have also pledged to work together. Linturi and Aburi campaigned for Kiraitu in the run-up to the 2017 General Election, but they have abandoned him and turned into his nemesis.

They attended a burial in Kianjai, Tigania West, on Saturday.

Munya said they have resolved to work together for the sake of Meru.

The leaders have rejected a proposal by Agriculture CS Mwangi Kiunjuri and  Kiraitu to meet in Limuru to chart the way forward for Mt Kenya politics.

But Aburi said Meru has its kingpin and has nothing to talk about with their Central counterparts.

Kiraitu and Kiunjuri want to do away with Tangatanga and Kieleweke teams and go to the polls as Mount Kenya bloc. Kiraitu has been an ally of Kiunjuri. Kiunjuri might want to seek Kiraitu's support to get a big national seat, probably being a running mate in 2022.

"Whenever it comes to politics, Mt Kenya comes down and Meru is seen from the other side, but after that, we are forgotten. Meru will not back any other leader, we have our very own kingpin and if it's about 2022 negotiations, it's too early," Aburi said.

The MP said Mt Kenya leaders should stop politicking about 2022 and focus on the Big Four agenda.

The MP also tore into Kiraitu, whom he accused of brokering power on behalf of Merus.

"This time we will not allow him to speak on our behalf. We have capable leaders who can speak. Since 1992, he has been benefiting from power brokerage on behalf of Meru," Aburi said.

CS Munya said they have formed a pact with Linturi and Aburi and have resolved they will not go to Limuru.

"We can't go to Limuru to talk about Mt Kenya politics yet President Uhuru Kenyatta wants us to stop politicking about 2022 and focus on development," Munya said.

He said it is too early to decide the region's kingpin because Uhuru is still at the helm.

"President Kenyatta is still our leader and when the time comes, he should be the one calling  on us to forge our future. We won't accept to be called by miscellaneous people," Munya said.

He said leaders should concentrate on what they were elected for.

"The best preparation is to work where you have been elected or appointed," Munya said.

The CS said together with Aburi and Linturi, they have also agreed to support constitutional amendments to bring peace and unity to the country.
