I can't get my mind off this.

I never knew the roots are that deep. I once had a botched root canal. The dentist drilled and the tooth caved in. It had to go. I have yet to forget the pieces all over my mouth being collected one by one. They were too big Thor the suction pump so they had to be collected one by one . The worst torture was extracting whatever remained. He crushed it twice with his ‘pliers’ and I could sense exasperation, but it finally came out. Note this dude is a prof at UoN so no quack. In fact he postponed the appointment twice because he was having exams for his pupils.

The other one went on nicely and I was given some serious gothic rock. I saw myself at Winterfell

That's encouraging.  I am having one for the first time in a few days.  I was supposed to have it a few years ago, but opted for a minor fix instead.  I am not looking forward to it, but I have no choice.

I had it done.  It was uneventful.  Other than a Gujarat woman sticking needles in my mouth, drilling and scraping things from my tooth, suction pipes and jokes while I nervously anticipated the nasty moment that never came and the general realization that there are a million other places I'd rather be, it was quite a pleasant experience.

Oh goodness. Ew.

Pleasant? Termi I'm glad the experience wasn't horrid although I question whether you're so dead inside like me your senses just don't react.

I went to get a kelloid removed from my ear and the surgeon was shocked I had no reaction at all to my supposed erogenous zones.

Pleasant with all the caveats ;).  Yep, a dead nerve.  That might have helped.  It had been a hole that was previously covered with a crown. So the drilling might have been easier.
