Title: what did veri learn about the law today...
Post by: veritas on May 10, 2019, 12:37:55 PM
well, there's so much politics. Passing this and that legislation at this and that date. The textbook isn't accurate though, the authors (lawyers) are wrong about a lot of facts concerning geopolitics, economic policies and philosophical concepts like the social contract. I can't say I'm intellectually stimulated at this point but I've only really just started... I think my interest is with intellectual property matters like copyright and patents.

btw, I bought some cute outfits for mooting and my first fountain pen. :)

Legal research using boolean search terms are decades behind science and medicine. How can lawyers prepare for cases like this? No wonder law and politics is so messed up. I may need to switch down from a fountain pen to ink and quill. ..
