Mueller report: The best day of Trump's presidency
(https://ichef.bbci.co.uk/news/660/cpsprodpb/167E8/production/_106163129_trump_976reu.jpg)
What was that film called? As Good As It Gets? That's how Donald Trump must feel now that the attorney
general has published his four-page summary of the Mueller report.
It is impossible to over-emphasise the significance of what has been said.
If the Democrats want to remove this president from the White House, it's going to have to be via the ballot box in November 2020, and not before.
The cloud that has been over the president for 22 months has gone, the weight that has sat on his shoulders has been lifted.
This is without doubt the best day that Donald Trump has had since his inauguration in January 2017. So let's go through it.
The Mueller investigation came in two parts - firstly, the question of whether there had been collusion between his campaign and the Russians.
On that there is 100% exoneration. Special Counsel Robert Mueller found that his campaign did not conspire or coordinate with Russia. That issue is put to bed.
On the question of obstruction of justice there is a bit of ambiguity.

It was a stupid allegation from clinton and democrats - made them look like sore losers. Trump took advantage of the white trash fear of changing demographics and alarm of having Obama as the first black president. He saw a window of opportunity and he grabbed it - being himself a closet racist.

Robina,
It doesn’t make me angry. In any case, we know only what Barr chooses to share of the actual report(more importantly his interpretation of it). It’s consistent with what he has always maintained - that a President cannot commit a crime while carrying a legally permitted action.
If you look through the archives here, you would have already discovered that I have previously mentioned Trump’s lesser problem is collusion if we pretend it means anything. Same for obstruction.
His real problem has always been the financial crimes he has been able to keep relatively under the radar until the Mueller(and scores of others still ongoing) probes.
Did I read that article? No. I am assuming that your title correctly captures it. Which means they cannot be bothered by the most basic details I mentioned in the first paragraph.
We’ll hopefully get more neutral details in the coming days. And it still won’t make me angry(whatever that counts for) whichever conclusions they support. America can probably survive a Trump or two every few generations.

Robina,
I neg to differ. The guy committed a crime, but in current USA, Trumps justice is slowly pointing to serving the well off. The standards have been lowered to the point that USA is slowly turning into Venezuela.

Not quite Venezuela, but a compliant DOJ. A DOJ that tries to anticipate and do what the boss wants. I think that part is well underway. That is why it may fall upon state(as opposed to the Feds) attorneys general to deal with him.

The report relied on the evidence or testimonies before them and so far, nothing on your man. It is politically incorrect to nail a sitting POTUS. Clinton got away in a worse scenario. Ever since, the deal is to threaten but just so far. /legally, the sword still hangs over his head just like the ICC suspects and that should restrain him from going full force against media and Nancy Pelosi. Pundit knows that's why his threats of another round of PEV are very tame.

It is an interesting case on the extent to which appointed officers can go in checking the powers of elected thugs. Just like in Israel where wants to hang Netanyahu or our Maraga or Kinoti seems it is quite a destructive path to take for people who have built careers over decades.
Whether flawed democracy which is becoming the cry even in the US the mother of his democrazy - the vote should be the decider. Let the thugs serve their term or if they become toxic a popular uprising will do!!

He committed crimes, but standards have been lowered because his a white dude, so he gets away.

Trump wins a second term. He is very good to us busibessmen. We are really totally ducking the poor. I have never felt so rich and optimistic

Trump is likely to win round 2 but overall he is very negative for the US and the world. Climate change is real.
-
Climate change has always been reality. Btw poverty and global warming - I'd deal with poverty first - and kick the global warming can down - the next generation can deal with it - with the wealth generated now.

Global warming is a big time bomb - which Trump openly denies. Poverty has always been there too. Drought and crazy temperatures are big cause of famine and poverty.
I meant the strange increase in right-wing terror and such - due to rhetoric from authority figures - plus the damage he has done to the US standing reneging on almost everything - Iran deal, TPP, climate accord.

I think he’ll lose to Biden. Not quite a 50 state rout but close.

Trump wants DoJ and FBI investigated for anti-Trump bias. Nice
I think democrats are angry because they pinned all their hopes on Mueller, and they need up concocting all manner of fairy tales and conspiracy theories. Trump has been vindicated
