Kukopa harusi, kulipa matanga. There could be a correlation between spiralling personal debts and the rate of suicides and violent crime especially at domestic level. Some of the violent crimes of boyfriends stabbing girlfriends and policemen shooting wives and missies could be connected to frustrations from betting loans away. Strange though that women are also borrowing heavily - to repay debts. No wonder they are such easy prey for governors, MCAs and other sponsors.
