President Uhuru Kenyatta has again scolded members of the Tanga Tanga group that is linked to his Deputy President William Ruto.
It was Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro who found himself in the unenviable position of being given a public dressing-down by President Kenyatta for “criss-crossing the country making noise.”
Immediately Mr Nyoro rose up to speak at the funeral ceremony of Thayu Kamau at Kiharu Constituency on Thursday, Mr Kenyatta excused himself and went out of the tent only to come back when the MP had finished making his remarks.
This was not the first time the Head of State has excused himself while Mr Nyoro is holding the microphone.
Last year, during the funeral ceremony of second liberation hero Kenneth Matiba, Mr Kenyatta also walked out when the MP was speaking.

While it is not clear whether the incident is a coincidence or pre-planned, on Thursday the President tongue-lashed the MP after he requested the Head of State to donate at least Sh5 million to Gitui Secondary School for development.
“I hear some people asking for money. Account for the monies that have been allocated in your National Government Constituency Development Funds which are worth Sh100 million instead of loitering the country with endless meetings and unending speeches,” Mr Kenyatta, who was visibly irritated, told the MP amid cheers from mourners.
Mr Nyoro is perceived to be Dr Ruto’s man in Murang’a County and Mt Kenya region.
The President assured Kenyans that the ongoing war against corruption in the government will continue and "not even microphones will save those implicated."
His dressing-down of Mr Nyoro has been the talk of town with some speculating that Mr Kenyatta is angry at the MP for defying his directive to halt 2022 politics.

Also in the crosshairs of the President was Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu whose remarks on “going slow on war against graft because of our people in Rift Valley” irked Mr Kenyatta.
The governor, who publicly announced that he had ditched the Tanga Tanga movement and conveyed the condolence message of Deputy President William Ruto at the funeral, urged the government to go slow on the war against corruption since “our people” live in the Rift Valley.
“Even as we support the war against the graft, we should remember that our people are in Rift Valley and I request that we approach this war together as a team just the way we joined hands in 2013 with our brothers in Rift Valley,” he said.
Mr Odinga dismissed Mr Waititu for the remarks, telling him that nobody should blackmail or threaten any Kenyan since “when they steal they do so for [themselves not on behalf of a community].”
Although the President did not respond to the governor in the podium, he reprimanded and scolded him after the burial.
Multiple sources, who included several MPs told the Nation, that the President scoled Mr Waititu and told him to his face to stop petty politics.
“We were waiting for the body of the deceased to be mounted in the hearse just outside the tent when the President scolded Mr Waititu and told him off, accusing him of playing dirty petty politics. He was very furious and the governor did not respond,” an MP who sought anonymity told the Nation.

Uhuru doesn't want to become lameduck too early. Otherwise I think he will be Ruto chief campaigner - and will pick Ruto deputy.

Wake me Ruto up when that happens. He is sleep walking to PORK. His main competitor is Raila. Now Gema have to choose Raila or Ruto. You know where they will pack their bus. They can also try bring their own candidates and see how far that goes.

Gema will neither choose Ruto nor Raila.Take that to equity or put it under your mattress.And if you delude yourself that the GEMA nation does not have sons and daughters to vie for presidency,then a big shock awaits you my friend Pundito.
As for Raila,he is used to the shagging by GEMA,and i know he hasnt placed all his bets on the gema vote.He must have hidden some cards.
As for Arap Mashamba,he has placed all his hopes on the gema votes.He doesnt seem to have a plan B.Only option available to him is to unleash his worriors on Kikuyus in RV which will do him more harm than good.(Read Sudi and mandago).

Okay lets assume all the big five pick their candidates - so we talking of run-off scenarios.
1) Assume GEMA pick their own candidate - I am not sure who that be now - PK or Moses Kuria:). I am not sure when that magic will happen - when Uhuru will quit Jubilee, go tribal and fish Moses Kuria from his bag of tricks.
2) 80yr old Raila will try to ran again - this time backed by Luos and big maybe Joho's if he pick him as running mate. Raila is not getting NASA brigade again. That bridge is burn beyond recognition. He may try Gideon Moi combo?
3) MaDVD will ran of course backed by Maragolis.Wetangula and Bukusu - who knows. Kakmega gov is also seriously thinking of running. More chaos in LuhyaLand.
4)Kalonzo will be running together with Mutua, Prof Mutua and Prof from Makueni.
5) The man of the hour William Ruto - backed by KAMATUSA+ Pastoralist + part of coast, luhya,coast and gusii-kurias - will alone start from 25-30% of the vote.All Ruto will need is strong running mate....and here can he either go Luhya or Meru+Embu or Kikuyu diaspora like Kiunjuri depend on how it goes. Obviously GEMA diaspora knows they will pay the price of betrayal and will go rogue - and vote Ruto.
In such scenarios - you see William Ruto - without Uhuru backing already past 40% - and for the run-off - Ruto will make a deal with any of 10% - and voila - home & dry.
That is Ruto plan A - Ruto plan B- Uhuru picks Ruto running mate, become Jubilee party leader and Ruto sleep walk to statehouse.

When will that happen. Ruto controls Jubilee. If Uhuru called for Jubilee vote now - he'll end up trying to intimidate a few Kikuyu mps - although majority will go rogue. I mean if in 2013 - when Ruto was just a mere MP facing trial in ICC and formed a party with Duale :) - and URP still kicked arse - just imagine after 10yrs as Deputy Pork - what kind of PUNCH Ruto will now has?
I can tell you Ruto network is all over the country - from Malaba to Malindi- from Moyale to Namanga.
The man is sleepwalking to statehouse. He really has no competitor. Maybe the 80yr old Raila who nobody trust any longer :)

Have you realized its only Ruto and his kalenjin folks still talking of jubilee.Jubilee died long time ago rather what has remained as jubilee is the URP wing.Uhuru has no interest in jubilee,he has achieved his purpose,thats the reason why he doesnt care for Ruto.

What else is new. These political parties have a very short shelf life. Mt. Kenya is looking for a new party or they will recycle PNU or DP.
