Embattled Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa have been officially expelled from ODM party.
The party's National Governing Council on Friday said Jumwa had been expelled for gross misconduct.
Her Msambweni counterpart Suleiman Dori's case is still not clear. Jumwa and Dori have been accused of supporting DP William Ruto’s 2022 presidential bid.
ODM leader Raila Odinga has not declared if he will contest in 2022 but his close ally Siaya Senator James Orengo has said he will.
The National Governing Council is composed of the ODM league, National Executive Council, Youth League, the National Election Board and county coordinating committee officials.
Others are governors, deputy governors, assembly minority and majority leaders and the parliamentary group.

It's almost as if they think she should not be an unprincipled greedy self seeking vulture who is only in it to fill her tummy.

One more reason why Raila never became pork.Expelling people from parties in 21st centuries who does that. Its just like executing or hanging people.Doesnt happen anymore. If Raila had real power he would enact a totalirian dictatorship.

Raila, old greedy hyena shows its teeth. By election in Malindi will be a good indicator of how much Raila and his drug dealer friend joho have lost ground. You dont take blood money, betray people and then dance on their graves and expect people to forget and move on....

Ruto can try his luck by offering aisha nomination

Ruto should just advise Aisha to resign and subject herself again to the electorates to taste how strong she is.Its time to walk the talk.

To achieve what end. She should just take ODM through court until 2022 when she runs for Kilifi governorship. This is intimidation & double standards - pure and simple - where Raila and his close allies are allowed to mingle with other political parties - but coast Mps have to suck up - despite getting NOTHING from ODM. Luos took basically all leadership positions - despite COAST being the 2nd plank of ODM. And that really is what broke ODM in coast.
ODM has done same expelling politicians - and it just keep hemorrhaging support - and those expelled have gone to greater heights.
Jubilee has never expelled any of it's member - even when they became a thorn in their flesh - likes of Alfred Keter name them - and that is what democracy really is.

She wabted to support ruto. The leadership of odm have given her a chance. Pundit you want have your cake and eat it. Even raila had to resign as mp and seek fresh mandate after bolting ford. Courts cannot force odm to not discipline errant members
Ruto has a chance to test his popurality at coast. Aisha is an able politician let ruto or uhuru sponsor her against odm

Odm is the oldest party in power. Raila is quasi president while your boy ruto is a third a distant third. Jubilee is dead. Urp is dead. So tell us about urp because ism is still alive and kicking and it is in power. All we are waiting is for Uhuru tiff with his dp to boil over and our members will be in the cabinet
-
why does she fear a by election
-
Odm is now luo party after coast bolted out.All the charade now is the desperate attempts to intimidate coast politicians. It didn't work before and won't work now
