Anyone seen/heard about this? Was thinking it would be impossible to build such without people noticing till it was brought to my attention these guys can use 8 inch pipes for the pipeline.....
-
Nothing like that. Such a pipeline would first of all cost a fortune to build. S. Sudan as well as Kenya goverment is broke.
-
Why would such a pipeline be secret? What's to be gained? Besides, oil pipelines can be sabotaged or damaged by marauding robbers. KPC still suffers losses despite regularly monitoring by chopper and sensors. You can imagine the embarrassment of arresting robbers for damaging a secret pipeline. Or they just take them out?

Why did kenya pay Israel 35 billion for oil pipeline which is being disguised as payment to secure the existing pipeline?

Well they just paid 48 billion to Israel company...there is a lot of oil in south Sudan and if you can siphon it via kenya you would make a killing....

Based on north and south Sudan peace agreement it's almost impossible for Ss to sell their oil via Kenya or Uganda so to get around this limitation you establish a secret pipeline.
