Title: Nkatha and co back at IEBC
Post by: Pajero on August 24, 2018, 03:02:57 PM
Questions are abound after two IEBC commissioners, who purportedly resigned, returned to the Anniversary Towers on Friday.
Vice Chairperson Consolata Nkatha and commissioner Margaret Mwachanya were at the Nairobi office to see chairman Wafula Chebukati.
"The two are here to see the chairman. I can only report the purpose of their mission after I speak with the chairman," IEBC communications boss Andrew Limo said.
In April this year, Maina, Mwachanya and Paul Kurgat said they had left the commission because they have no faith in the chairman’s leadership.
The announcement came days after Chebukati suspended CEO Ezra Chiloba "because of procurement issues".
Mwachanya, who read a statement on behalf of her colleagues, said: "With the mistrust at the commission, we feel that our positions as commissioners are no longer tenable. We regret to tender our resignations with immediate effect."

Debriefing for dealing with the hustler in 2022(in the rare event that he wins  ).  You throw your life's work and energy into it, mobilize a successful ground-game only to be reminded that those who count are more important than those who vote.  Painful stuff.
