Corruption fight should be systematic. Not dramatic. No one want to stock or import sugar with police officers all over. The loser is the poor kenya.

talk about inflation.
Y doesn't sugar flow freely across EA?
There should be no restrictions on agri products.

It will come down

By then the losses to the economy - would have ran billions of shs. And there is really no way you can stop arbitrage in sugar industry with global sugar dirty cheap. This matiangi need to be jailed for ruaraka land scam and the country can get back on it's feet. Last year he left a whole generation in shambles...after refusing to moderate exams results..now everywhere is littered with Es and Ds.
We need to sober up and stop cheering lynch mobs.
It will come down

This is what happens when we create ineffective importation substitute industry. Even when sugar is imported cheaply we still end up paying at the local produced rate. The protection of the local industry is what has led to all this mess.

Even FL protects its sugar industry. Problem is that Kenya protects corrupt cartels therefore making it almost impossible to effectively protect the industry

There is no corruption fight in Kenya. It is just Afrocinema and things will be back to normal once the top dogs have their way.

This is what the corrupt wing of jubilee government want you to believe that fighting corruption is expensive and we are better off throwing our hands in the air and let systems that have been put in place deal with corruption. There is nothing like systemic way of dealing with corruption in Kenya as long as one side of the government is determined to sabotage all efforts to uproot this evil.

Patel,You remind me of hessy of dandora or kayole who kill one thug only for the poverty mill to produce 10 more. This is a long drawn war..and besides the best way to fight crimes is improve the life of the people and give them hope. You cant do that when sugar is 2dollar a kilo.
