Deputy President William Ruto has been accused of using racist words while referring to contractors working on a road in Kwale County.
While assigning the contractors on 11th June, Ruto said “huyu mtu wa macho madogo madogo, huyu Chinese ndio atafanya hiyo kazi.”
This was to elucidate to the locals the origin of the contractors.
The small webs of skin over the corners of the mongoloid race eyes are described by scientists as epicanthic folds which give an illusion of small eyes.
The Deputy President was unveiling the construction of the Kidimu-Shimoni-Majoreni-Vanga-Lunga Lunga in Kwale County.
The locals, however, seemed amused by DP’s choice of words.

Doesn't sound that racist to me :) Ruto knows how to break it down for common man.
