Anyone spot the bubble? now that Drake plays esports and Snoop Dogg invests in Spotify. Complete with Facebook troubles. It must be a clear sign to Pastor vooke and doomsayers.
Won't somebody wake me up?
Telegram is now the ‘6th largest country’ on Earth

Oh I couldn't find the other tech bubble thread actually. Pundit must have deleted it. Only his threads can be popular.

I don’t know how Telegram makes money. Soon or later something’s got to give.
Note I don’t doubt the numbers but the viability

Telegram is a platform business like Facebook, YouTube, etc. They nurture an ecosystem of users - the channels - and so businesses now need dedicated channels to reach the audiences. In fact the channel model segments accurately the target audiences (as the equivalent of FB Groups or Google Circles). There is no general audience (equivalent to free accounts or standard license YouTube accounts), and this means their 200m monthly users are more valuable.
If your church wants to dedicate a channel to your followers, you will find it quite convenient that tithes be paid via Telegram wallet or coins or pay or whatever they call it. Or some new blockchain product. Or some other strategy Durov designs to leverage the ecosystem.

I hope you're not fooled by the "not for profit" bs. It's milked in other ways - dedicated followership, social influence, political capital, etc.
With VR/AR some of these businesses will turn into adventure platforms. So there will be virtual moon tour channels, incarnation, and such alter ego fakery, alternate reality or time travel. You seem to imagine that people are uncreative...
Calm down it's the social media.

Oh yeah, who forgets the 'intangibles'?

I sometimes like getting lost in such worlds. I'm a member of so many different virtual worlds. If I was filthy rich I just wouldn't even venture outside my house and spend my waking days the rest of my life in these worlds. I get so excited and inspired when I interact and just exist in these worlds.

Which worlds are these? I have been out of touch with worlds since second life. Though I have heard of Minecraft, roblox and similar stuff that milenials literally live in.

I guess just randoms worlds sourced online, there are just so many out there. I don't tend to stay in one world for that long. However I recognise the same stereotypes... the twin, the jerk who keeps telling us we're all losers, the chatty interesting one, the creepy stalker, the cool one, the quiet one, the one who thinks they know everything, the hackers, tweens, curious about s-x, the perverts, I guess characters like in real life but the beauty is you can judge from afar and don't have to deal with the consequences. I also enjoy picking my avatars, styling myself up in the virtual world because I could just never look like that in real life.
