Hopefully large manufacturers like cement making companies can take advantage of this - and reduce the cost by nearly the same margins.

This is really good bridge gap as we work on reducing overall cost of elec. And the beauty of it no legislation needed.

Most of the reforms or changes needed are so common-sensical it frustrating nobody thinks about doing them. Like this one. Everybody knows power lies idle after everyone has watched their 9pm news, turned off their light and gone to bed to wake up at 6 am the following day. That is a lot of wasted power. This is power that industries can use, that can be used to cheaply run street lights in every market or town..and even electrify trains to carry goods at night...
