The African Union has hailed Kenya's policy that any African visiting the country is issued a visa on arrival at the airport or other border points.
AU Commission chair Moussa Faki Mahamat on Tuesday urged other African countries to follow in Kenya's footsteps.
Through his twitter handle, he congratulated Kenya on the "historic decision" in Africa. Kenya is the first country to allow Africans to get visas on arrival.
"I urge all African states that have not yet done so to take similar measures towards the free movement for all Africans across Africa."

I see kamwana has been to the Statue of Liberty.
“Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me. I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”
