The first heart transplant took place in SA, but the country is in shambles due to Mbeki, Zuma leadership. A child born today os worse off than under apartheid - sorry to equate that, but its real. All over Africa corruption and ineptitude has taken over to make the continent the worst place to live. A few billionaires live in mansions surrounded by a lack of basic infrastructure.

I told you a few months ago the premier of the provincial government of West Cape, Hellen Zille, spoke of the economic benefits of colonialism. She was suspended from her party and almost lynched. The screaming was unbearable. If the provincial assembly was not white dominated she would have been impeached. Poor woman is silent since.
I think despite the rapid fall under black rule the apartheid past is too raw to allow introspection. My hope is for the ANC to lose its majority in the elections. It will then have little recourse but to fix its standards. This seems to be happening with the poor show in the municipal midterm elections. Zuma would be out if there were any serious accountability.

Mbeki was okayish. Out of touch, but was able to keep a lid on runaway corruption to some extent. Zuma opened the floodgates. I think the black man has been put down too long to be entrusted with too much responsibility in one fell swoop. He will just use it to fix his personal foibles.

Am not advocating of even thinking of apartheid rather using it as a comparison where the country was and now. Its like investments died with the advent of majority rule. Kibaki had the country running and invested in the future and, took some politics out of govt. Uhuru brought it back full time and now the whole place is fucked up real good. He's the law n anyone cane be terminated if he wishes.

Robina do I get the odd feeling that you are as tired of Jubiler as the rest of us but for some reason you find it hard to accept that Raila stands as the best option for now? In your other threads you seem to support impunity just because it fits the Raila must nit be president narrative.

After ditching the old parliamentary system - aren't you amazed the champions of the new constitution now want it gone. They want parliamentary federalism :D and anyone against that is Jubilee. IEBC, judges, observers, diplomats, name it.
This "new" system will make all happy and cause rapid development. TRIBALISM 101.
