The prosecutor I have had to deal with are a piece or art to say the least. They are cops. We need law trained guys to present a case to a bench.

re investigation will yield nothing, it was a clean job
The current court case is a formality since some dongera was murdered
She probably did it and has already gotten away with it
There is nothing to pin it on her.....unless she confesses

And it depends on who you know. if you know the right people and have cash nothing will happen to you. Witnesses get arrested, files disappear and stubborn magistrates get transferred.
