Nothing disappoints more than Jacob Zuma. SA has really degraded since mzungu stepped down - the economy, the roads, the towns, the chaos. Mbeki was much better - Zuma paints Africans in a very bad light.

Haha Kadudu. My criticism of the man is not his "culture". Not even his strange belief about HIV. Rather his corruption and incompetence.
You should visit SA... I was there first in 99. Beautiful Joburg. You could walk barefoot. Returned in 2006. Notable difference - dirt creeping in. Disorder - eateries & parking, etc. 2015 - yawwn - dirty everywhere, kiosks, traffic. It's bad even in Sandton now.
Zuma takes my flak on behalf of all other negros. I really agreed with Hellen Zille - Premier of the Western Cape - who praised the benefits of colonialism. Poor woman was almost lynched. Noone bothered to note her province is the best run. She was actually World Mayor of the Year sometime. Cape Town I think is the best run city in Africa.
With their significant white population - SA blacks could be honest with themselves - and allow white oversight of key sectors. So long as they disavow racism. Zille for instance was an anti-apartheid activist who risked her life to oppose black oppression.

I was in Joburg in 93. Place was nice and have not been there ever since but from what I hear and seen things have deteorated. Sometimes our brothers cannot run instituitions. Zuma is a failure and will go down in history as the first African despot to run RSA.

Just like Trump, the guy is incompetent. His ego is what gave him the job. After that there is no concrete plan for moving SA into the next centrury.

SA has to go down under completely for the whites to run away or be chased. Then they can build a black South Africa. Malema will lay a great role if he doesn't get poisoned in some hotels he is frequenting for lectures all over.
Land is the most basic factor of production, with it you can at least feed yourself. Zimbabwe are now recording surplus grain harvests after the land redistribution which we were told was doom for Zimbabwe. Obviously given West interests in SA its fortunes are bleak than Venezuala or Zim, mzungu would rather it be nuked than have blacks own their land and those mines.

Life is funny. This man Ramaphosa was tipped to take over from Mandela in his 40s but was outfoxed by Mbeki. He gave politics for business and amassed personal wealth under the black empowerment program. Now he's back at the top 20 years later.

Cyril was Mandela's favourite to suceed him, but the ANC officials would have none of that. Mandela's wish has come to pass. I hope he is more competent than Zuma although more incompetent than Zuma is not easy task to achieve.

RSA have made wise choice - Zuma and clan wanted to take it the usual African direction.

I hate corrupt people and their supporters to the extend that given a firing squad, I will not hesitate to fire.
Corruption destroys society, leaving future generations poorer and desperate. Zuma is one of the worst of modern Africa.

Watching the ANC 54th quinquennial conference. One can only wish Kenya's democracy was that mature. National issues are well canvassed and addressed by specialist committees of delegates and experts. They seem to be quite careful about the "economic transformation" - a PC phrase for redistribution of land and wealth. Most seem favor progressive affirmative action coupled with social security or welfare. Apartheid is a real hangover but they learned hard lessons from the Zim catastrophe. However on Trump and Israel over the Jerusalem conundrum they went full gung-ho and demoted the SA embassy to a "liaison office". They see Israel as an apartheid government and are not bothered with the facts.
Anyway going by Ramaphosa's flowery words on Comrade Zuma I don't see a Mbeki-style eviction playing out.
