They feel his to participation in a sham election is better for things.  The man can't be allowed to be a private citizen going about his business.

Western donors want National Super Alliance leader, Raila Odinga, to rescind his withdrawal from the upcoming repeat election, even as they insist on respect for the IEBC.

The move by the Opposition last week may have surprised many of the envoys, after they had pressured both sides of the political divide to let the IEBC do its job and plan for elections.

However, Mr Odinga argued he and his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka were withdrawing from the race because the electoral agency had not heeded their call for reforms.

“We called on all actors to participate and respect the Constitution. We are reviewing the practical implications of this withdrawal,” a senior diplomat from the European Union Delegation in Kenya told the Nation, suggesting the Supreme Court may be required to “pronounce itself on this matter.”

I found that funny unless the papers got it wrong because Bazungu are so desperate they are starting to reason like Jubilee.

Jubilee believed they had closed all the doors and NASA had no choice but to be forced into rigged elections into perpetuity.

Arap Mashamba even got carried away in his  arrogance and decided that 2017 campaign period was the best time to unveil  Muhoho  as our dear leader in 2032.

Well, Odinga has his irreducible minimums... these wazungu better recognise.

War on terror in Somalia makes Bazungu tolerate more bullshiet from Uhunye than otherwise they would. Then again Kenia is the best in the East if UG,TZ,RWanda,Burundi,Ethiopia,Somalia are anything to go by, so cut them some slack
