They agree with us on more than 98 per cent of the draft laws. The only thing they have issues with is the section on quorum and powers of the National Returning officer,” he said.

They want to quorum be 4 commissioners instead of the proposed 3.

Ag Chairman - I thought they rejected the vice chair acting as chair. This is important unless the qualification of the two is the same.

Quorum - I didn't see the point. They should designate issues that need majority of all the members (4) and have 3 as the quorum for other usual sittings and decisions. Quorum is meant to keep the body running smoothly on a daily basis. Just like parliament where constitutional amendment requires 2/3 of total while normal bills and motions require majority of 30% quorum.
