The off the cuff remarks by the US ambassador did not target Raila alone. They were directed at all parties. The US / EU wants dialogue and and end to unilateral decisions.

This is exactly what happened in summer last year. That means Chiloba, etc are sacrificial lambs. Ruto may have little option but to allow the talks that will see his power reduced.

The message has clearly hit home. A Luo saying: If you want to kno0w in which hole a leopard is hiding pour cold water in all the holes! BTW I have no idea why members of the cat family fear water that much! Some would rather fake a death than take a shower - even a yearly shower!

Dream on. UhuRuto are no going for any nusu mkate. Chebukati can talk but as long as election preparation is on high gear my advice is for folks to campaign. You cannot negotiate with zero leverage.
