Though Arabic influence it is a good bet from the un-inspirational tired rectangular design.

We can do even better African inspired designs. The Westernised disdain for African indigenous would come in handy as they get battered by those hurricanes. Our round houses and pyramids were a way of co existing with nature.

How about contemporary designs that are neither this or that. Just architect thinking out of box for practical houses that reflect the 21st century.
