Who decides when/whether to withdraw?
I think they are playing mind games by pretending they got nothing to hide and are ready to face their accusers all this when they damn well know the petition has been withdrawn.
-
Do you have confirmation of the withdrawal or just Ngunjiri's reported statement? I have not even seen a letter or application from Ngunjiri "withdrawing" the petition, have you? The last time journalists checked, the matter was still intact.
You operate from a tendentious point of view: You believe and hold people guilty and then place the burden of proving innocence on them. Yours is a slightly improved form of conspiracy theorizing. It has been a recurring approach in everything you post here.
However you refuse to grant others the same privilege anjd demand such things as proof, evidence etc.

This is good.... it keeps the unwarranted attack on the CJ front and centre. Besides, the proceedings might just tease out the hidden hand of Uhuru Kenyatta in the background.

Kiai and Mutua want to force Ngunjiri to present his case in the open and so the whispering can cease. The allegations have to be supported. The whole idea of guilt by association must be brought to light. Uthamaki conspiracy Theories gleaned from Hubris where simply naming George Soros is enough "evidence" will be put to test. How on earth is an NGO financed by Soros Foundation a crime?
I read Fazul talking about Soros supporting "Regime Change"; That must come in the open so the Ngunjiri's of this world can differentiate between conspiracy theorizing while drinking Nyuki and muratina and charges that can be supported by firm evidence.

The dwarf should be sued for defamation.

Uhunye asked the Nyeri boy to withdraw in public, I doubt he can pursue it after that. That's all I have.
But this application by Kiai is strange. Can any court force a petitioner not to withdraw a petition?

You asked a question somewhere. I want to give you an answer by requesting you to buy and read Chirundu - by Ezekiel Mphahlele (also written Es'kia Mphahlele
This book can help many understand why Uhuru dispatched Cabinet Secretaries to campaign for him and believed and accepted that the Supreme Court would rule in his favor.
Uhuru has a fundamental problem and that is he takes Macchiavelli games too far and he has refused to accept that Kenya is a country struggling to embrace modern politics and be a leader in African democracy. He sees democracy as his enemy and it will be.

I'm surprised at your attitude. I thought you'd be dancing. Did you not want this to be fully prosecuted and were disappointed that Uhuru was "threatened" into making Ngunjiri withdraw it?

I was disappointed that Kisii scared the hell out of Ngunjiri. Who needs a CJ who is only in office because of his kinsmen aggression?
Here I’m wondering whether it’s possible to legally force a petitioner not to withdraw, forget about the content of the petition and characters involved

Stop the low blows. Pundit is influencing you yet you know exactly where he is now and what he is eating.
I am not sure if it is withdrawn with prejudice or not. In oter words it can come up again. I think it should be opposed and if possible somneone should "take it over" so that the powers of subpoena as used to get all the witnesses to go on record. I think this will end up in the courts.
Uhuru woke up NGOs and now they are looking for wars to fight and from the look of things he will "feed" them
