Title: I think Judge Ibrahim faked illness...
Post by: Kadame7 on September 17, 2017, 04:30:17 PM
...to get out of the petition dramas. From Ngunjiri's talk you get the picture someone was really pestering him and he said "I'm sick, can't do it" and then "Even if I wanted to, Maraga won't let me, I missed too much."

Just a hunch. Don't bite my head off. :D

The guy looks like he has a terminal disease. His eyes are yellow indicating his liver is gone

Maybe, but the way Ngunjiri was wailing that he was "willing" but for mean old Maraga made me wonder: what difference would it have made? He seemed to believe things would have been different if they were 7. They probably think they could have swayed Smokin if they presented a 50/50 split. If those news reports are true that Smokin was the undecided. I just think it would be an easy route to take to avoid powerful enemies in a situation where you didn't want to look bad in front of your colleagues on the bench. Rather than nullify, you "abstain". Cheeky but I have no way of knowing the pressures these guys go through among other things.

Rumour has it that the good judge was offered five hundred million reasons why he should want to rule in the thieving bastards favour.  I guess he loves God more.

Also it's abit pointless threatening a strong Christian with death.  After all death is the transition to paradise.

Smokin is the one who had said he'd hate to go through another presidential petition during his grilling for the CJ post. Some read a sissy in him out of this but I think he was brutally honest. I doubt any of them but njoyed or looked forward to this.

Theories behind his sickness depend on other assumptions you make about him; was he pro, anti Jubilee/NASA or neutral?

He would not have had the nerve to face down Maraga. He would have ended up appending his signature to the majority.

When he joined Njoki's "strike" Mutunga was away. The day he returned Ibrahim saluted power and fell in line.

What is he scared of? Some closets in his closet?
