Nobody remains in politics and neutral in these terse hours to re-run.

Maybe he is going back to NGO world.
-
Omar is cheating nobody. NASA knew his was Jubilee ndani a long time ago and so did the locals. All those meetings with Ruto couldn't go unnoticed.
-
I don't know how much he got paid but should have remained as senator then run as governor in 2022 with Joho blessing. what a waste!

The boy can talk. 20 minutes nonstop without hesitation or stammering.

Talks too much, sign of guilt
-
Omar Hassan has a new owner. In a 20 minute rant where he talks about everything including young girls getting laid for money, he does not mention one thing negative about the jubilant cartel.
-
Never understood why he thought he could take Joho out at the height of Joho's popularity nationwide. I am sure he has identified people to blame and not himself.

Hassan has reached his apex. From here to the ground. Both sides have tolerated him for too long and now he is on his way down. There is a limit to how many fronts you can open a war on. No war can be sustained without a clear ideological base. He lacks it. His is power and an ego his own head cannot carry.
He takes on Kalonzo with personal insults and then rounds on Raila. He has no time for Joho, that is granted.
He has previously made very personal attacks on Jubilee people. Here we have another case of Ababu Namwamba. The victory for Jubilee has already been achieved in respect of Omar! His resignation. I hope he did not make the Ababu mistake of thinking there is anything else after his resignation. Jubilee has no need for him anymore and especially now that it is cash strapped.
One should curb hate against political opponents or risk drinking poison in the hope it will kill the opponent and not him.
-
Raila is allowed to do all sort of political acrobatics but nobody else is allowed. Hassan obviously made a wrong bet - and lost to Joho. He thought he could court the Mombasa's Kambas (thro Wiper) to counter Luo-Luhya support for Joho, hopefully split into half the mijikenda & Swahili vote - and give Joho a ran for his money.
Looking at his options btw now and 2022 (when Joho will not ran again) - he can choose to remain in opposition benches, he can choose to join Jubilee or he can choose to return back to civil society & rehash his proposal writing skills.
My selfish advice is to join Jubilee - UhuRuto biggest obstacle remain Joho - they can't seem to crack the mijikenda - so his support would be taken at premium - however due to ICC manenos - UhuRuto may not trust him that much to let him touch the levers of power. He'll get small time job as head of something - like Kenya Maritime Authority.
In the meantime he need to avoid becoming a Miguna Miguna & Raila - talking too much and too badly about everyone.

I am sure he has identified people to blame and not himself.
Just as NASWA for August polls thrashing and now Jubilee for SCOK thrashing.
Looks like he is headed to Boniface Mwangi's Ukweli Party

B..bu..but NASA does it too. Except SCOK agrees with their assessment. That IEBC has no basis for declaring them losers.

Losers will always blame someone. NASWA probably has an 'alibi' for october's thrashing already that is if they can sense defeat.

Yeah, it's a coping mechanism blaming something external to you

Yeah, it's a coping mechanism blaming something external to you
Blaming something external can also be the truth. IEBC cocked up. They were caught. The only coping mechanism I see on this thread is one that attempts to sugar coat the jubilant whining as a universal trait.

Sure, that's why Jubilee claims of NASWA sabotaging IEBC in their strongholds shouldn't be ignored as lunacy.

Lunacy is pushing for the impossible in under 60 days while pretending to be campaigning. Jubilee are real. Or pushing for change when you're convinced IEBC errors and failures were normal.
That's what Ruto harped on yesterday.

I think everyone with some brain cells is basically abandoning the sunken NASA dhow.
-
Political parties are about principles and ideologies. Let the politicians who nolonger share the principles and ideologies of NASA leave. That's what freedom of association is all about. Like I said earlier, there will always be enough people left in NASA. The country is divided and will remain so for a long time. The so called leaders have been moving back and forth since Jaramogi and Kenyattaa disagreement formed the modern Kenyan political divide, however, the fundamental differences have remained the same and will remain so for a very long time.

Let’s not get started on his blunders.
He miscalculated. That’s in the past. What next? Certainly not the obliterated WIPER party. He can’t left Wiper and join ODM as that’s just too much incestous. Negro has limited options not to mention he can’t run back to activism having burned bridges over 5yrs ago. He has a young family, mouths to feed, why not milk Jubilee for all it’s worth?

I have a clue he will fold up soon and start a NGO to battle Jubilee. It's looking to be monstrous enough. He's not hopeless.

Whatever h does, I don't envy him.
