I've seen people I know say they were harassed on Thika road today.....Guys, whats the plan here? Murkomen has started propaganda that looks aimed to prepare for a possible rejection of the Supreme court judgment should the deem it expedient to do so and now this? I don't get it. I thought Jubilee would not want any unrest/demos.....nini kinaendelea?

There is no way peaceful transfer of power will take place. Here you have Kuria claiming maraga plied out meat in thier mouth.....

This is what I say would happen. The idea here is simple, to disefranchized as many voters as possible - living within strongholds. Moi's 90 playbook. Expect to see chaos in Kiambu - where more than 10% of residence are non-GEMA and would vote Raila. Expect the same in many places including Nakuru, Kericho, Nandi, Bomet - where migrant workers working in flower farmers or tea farmers - will be kicked out. Also expect some kind of zoning to happen in main towns - nairobi, mombasa, eldoret, kisumu and eldoret - where slums thugs will square out.

We shall be see another exodus back to "home" counties by many people.

What is this Moses Kuria's obsession with circumcision? It is as if the cutting of the foreskin adds more grey matter in the brain. Moses Kuria should ask his Kikuyu women who are married to men with foreskins if there is any difference in bed.

This is madness. IEBC can make it come a cropper by allowing every registered voter to vote anywhere. Let's say I registered in Ichaweri Primary School and Kuria's goons have chased me away I should be able to vote in Matayos as long as EVID correctly identifies me as the person who registered in Ichaweri and as long as I have not voted elsewhere. If Easy Coach to Kakamega can book a passenger and assign a seat online without problems I believe IEBC can make people like Kuria to fail in their evil plans. Where is Kaparo meanwhile? And we're talking about Uhuru's MP here.

Exactly for presidential vote - residency is non-issues -for MCAS - it's different. This is akin to prison and diaspora - they only vote for PORK.

Yes. And if they do that it might possibly end this harassment of "minority" communities as there will be no point to it. I just wonder what happened to us? Were we really always this bad? I don't remember things being this way when I was small. Was I just naive?

They still need to be assigned to a polling station.  Because there is a limited number of ballots for each.  An option would be for IEBC to allow them to change their polling station.  That still ultimately disenfranchises them because it imposes an extra cost just to vote.

What IEBC should do is crack the whip and treat behaviors like Moses Kuria's as an election offense.

It always been like that. I lived next to tea estate with lots of immigrant workers and until this day the arrangement is that they don't vote - apart from exceptional cases - there are good reason and bad reason for it - most of the time the immigrant worker class don't care about local issues and would vote for guy with bigger wallet - so there is need to define residency criteria in details - say before you register - otherwise politician import folks to Nairobi or elsewhere and disenfranchise the real resident - the last MCA in "mavoko" imported lots of Gusii from Kisii and after winning did absolutely nothing.  They came in buses - registered - left- and come election day - they were brought in buses - and voted their guy in. This is the same case with some of immigrant workers who come and go - they don't care about issues in that area.

Personally i find voter registration disruptive over nothing. Why do you need to shift to your polling center to register? Why not register anywhere to vote anywhere?

This is among others a major cause of poor registration. You literally have to plan months ahead where you are likely to be.

With the latest IEBC fallouts its a slow march towards a full blown civil war. Adults in jubilee if there are any should step in before its too late.

Kuria should be charged with incitement and if there political violence resulting in death he should be hanged. Someone like kuria shouldn't be let to live
