Title: Polythene bag ban seem to be working.
Post by: RV Pundit on September 05, 2017, 03:35:33 PM
I never thought this would be possible but kudos to Enviroment CS & NEMA -  Nairobi is starting to look cleaner - and whole country too.

Shopping is a little ugly with supermarket staff trying to find anything to pack stuff. Kenyans need to get used to carrying their own shopping bags.

RaiPly (PanPaper) are going to be in big business with paper packaging.

They should also set a deadline and ban corruption in a similar way.
The only difference is to impose fines 1000x those for polythenes!

Even corruption can be eliminated going by how quickly folks have discarded polythene. We gonna have cleaner cities soon.

For corruption we need those waganga who are nabbing car thieves in Mombasa and Busia. Imagine if a governor shows up naked with details of his Jersey accounts :)
